We are looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of:

System Administrator

Goal The daily administration, upkeep, and support of the business’s IT infrastructure will fall under the purview of the system administrator. In order to support corporate goals, this position entails making sure servers, systems, and associated infrastructure operate effectively and securely. The ideal applicant will be well-versed in cloud technologies, cybersecurity best practices, network administration, and system architecture.

Main Responsibilities

System Installation and Configuration

  • Goal The daily administration, upkeep, and support of the business’s IT infrastructure will fall under the purview of the system administrator. In order to support corporate goals, this position entails making sure servers, systems, and associated infrastructure operate effectively and securely. The ideal applicant will be well-versed in cloud technologies, cybersecurity best practices, network administration, and system architecture.

System Maintenance and Monitoring

  • Keep an eye on resource usage, system performance, and uptime to guarantee peak performance.
    Investigate and promptly fix network, software, and hardware problems.
    Regularly apply patches, operating system updates, and configuration modifications.

Backup and Recovery

  • Maintain and carry out backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for important data and systems.
    Make sure you test data recovery procedures on a regular basis and perform regular backups.

Network and Security Management

  • Manage the network’s hardware, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless security systems.
    Make sure that all systems and infrastructure adhere to security best practices, which include conducting frequent security audits and vulnerability assessments.
    Keep an eye out for possible security risks and put defenses in place like intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, and antivirus programs.

User Support and Training

  • Offer end users technical support, troubleshoot problems, and guarantee effective problem solving.
    Staff members should receive instruction and documentation on how to use tools and systems.

Systems Optimization

  • Examine system logs to find possible computer system problems.
    Make suggestions for and carry out system upgrades to boost dependability and efficiency.
    Investigate and implement new techniques and technologies to enhance system performance.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Document system settings, modifications, and standard operating procedures in great detail.
    For management evaluation, create reports on system performance, problems, and fixes.

Collaboration & Vendor Management

  • To guarantee seamless system integration, collaborate closely with the IT staff.
    Work with vendors to arrange software licenses, repairs, and system updates.
    Minimum Requirements and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field from an accredited university is required.

Experience

  • three to five years of experience as a systems administrator or in a comparable position.
    knowledge of operating systems (macOS, Linux, and Windows Server).
    knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
    familiarity with networking technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
